I was just at the web site to see if there is anything new. It made me want to drop this line to you to let you know just how well your horn is holding up. I finally have been able to take it in to get adjusted. I have owned this alto for around 2 or 3 yrs now. The repair tech told me there was one small leak at the neck in the octave pad. This is normal. He was very surprised in the quality and asked me if I was playing it regularly. I told him yes every day. It has gone to formal and outdoor gigs and has never let me down. The intonation is a little off on the upper registers but I think with the adjustments we have leveled it out a little. I don't know if I told you I am using a meyer 6 and a medium fiber reed. The sound is full and rich and cuts like nothing else. I have even put this horn against others at a open mic and was very pleased with how it sounded compared to horns that are alot more expensive. I would like to try a tenor next and I am saving money for one now. I am very pleased. Jim Lockett

We are very pleased with the guitar. It came highly recommended. We tuned it last night with ease and it has such a beautiful sound. Chelsey is so happy to have a real one! Her last one was that "toy" guitar at Toys R Us and no amount of precision tuning could make that thing sound right! :)I cannot believe we have never seen your instruments at Sam's till this year. And we got the last guitar, at that. They said you come through every year. We homeschool and were wondering where we would find nice, affordable instruments. Now we have the answer.
We will be buying again as our other children get older. They already have their eyes on the sax, clarinet, and flute.

I had a chance to play these instruments recently at a Sam's Club in our area and was most impressed. I am a band director with a large band and small budget, at a largely minority population school. I am inclined to purchase some of these instruments.Thanks for your speedy response,

I think these horns are a wonderful service for the people who can't afford $2,000 for the real thing, or people like me who need a second horn for things like beach gigs where you might have a huge risk on the horn due to sand etc. Truth is that you have to be pretty damn good to beat this horn.D.
